Kool & The Gang est un groupe de jazz-funk et de funk formé à Jersey City dans le New Jersey, aux États-Unis en 1964. Groupe phare des années 1970 et déjà grand inspirateur des grands courants musicaux mondiaux qui allaient suivre tels le rap et surtout, le R'n'B.
