Thomas John Woodward, dit Tom Jones, né le 7 juin 1940 à Pontypridd (Pays de Galles), est un chanteur Gallois très populaire durant les années 1960 et 1970.

Il connaît un regain de succès mondial, surtout en Europe, à la fin des années 1990 notamment avec la chanson Sex Bomb.

Depuis 1965, il aurait vendu plus de 100 millions de disques1. Il fut également élu artiste du millénaire par le magazine Rock & Folk (no 26 de septembre 1999).
